SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA, USA (9/19/15)-Habitat for Humanity partnered with Valspar, Habitat’s national paint partner, and Wells Fargo to launch the project between September 19-26. A Brush with Kindness Week is a nationwide effort to transform neighborhoods by painting, landscaping and providing minor exterior home repairs in partnership with low-income homeowners, many of whom are elderly or have a disability. The event brought together more than 2,000 volunteers to help more than 150 families in 24 states. In Saint Paul, Minnesota, volunteers painted a US map with all of the participating locations. © Habitat for Humanity International/Ezra Millstein

A Brush With Kindness Home Repair Program

A Brush With Kindness (ABWK) program provides services to Gwinnett County homeowners to help keep homes safe, dry, accessible, and city/county code compliant so that homeowners can continue to live safely in their home for years to come.

Habitat Homeownership Program

Our Homeownership Program is for first time home buyers who are not able to own their own home through a traditional mortgage loan. Our Habitat Homeowners help build their own home, participate in homeownership education workshops, and will pay no more than 30% of their income towards their mortgage on their Habitat home. More than 150 families in our community are already Habitat homeowners and now have a better home and brighter future by partnering with Gwinnett Habitat for this life changing homeownership program.
