Donor Privacy Policy
Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity (1) will not share or sell a donor's personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations or (2) will only share or sell personal information once the donor has given the charity specific permission to do so. This does not prohibit Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity, itself, from contacting the donor for informational, educational, or solicitation purposes.
Collection of Personal Information
At our site, we do not collect personally identifiable information from individuals unless they provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. We do not require you to register or provide information to us in order to view our site. We only gather personally identifiable data, such as names, addresses, zip/postal codes, email addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by a visitor. For example, personally identifiable information may be collected to coordinate volunteer opportunities, or to make a financial contribution online. This information is used solely by us or our agents, for internal purposes.
Use of your Personal Information
We do not sell, rent or lease our donor lists to third parties. We may, from time to time, contact you about a special event related to our nonprofit that may be of interest to you. We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as handling the processing and delivery of mailings, providing customer support, processing transactions, or performing statistical analysis of our services. We will only provide those companies the personal information they need to deliver the service.
Processing Your Donation
We care about the safety and security of your transaction. We employ a third-party credit card processor to handle all online donations through our site and to keep them private and secure. Their privacy policy may be different from this Privacy Statement, and you should consult their policy before you donate. If you prefer, you may also make a donation via telephone or U.S. postal mail.
