A Message From our Executive Director

Summer 2025

Time has truly flown by! Since joining Gwinnett/Walton Habitat for Humanity, I’ve been immersing myself in our incredible mission and getting to know the vibrant communities we serve in Gwinnett and Walton counties. It's been a privilege to connect one-on-one with our dedicated staff members, passionate board members, and valued community stakeholders. I've also been diving deep into our financials and learning about the huge impact of our wonderful programs.

As I look ahead, there's so much to be excited about at Gwinnett/Walton Habitat. Despite a very rainy spring, we have broken ground on our 13-home pocket community in Lilburn, a project that will bring much-needed affordable homeownership opportunities to the area. The Water Resources Assistance Program (WRAP) continues to be incredibly successful, recently crossing over 500 families served. We are also thrilled to have been awarded $1.4 million in CHIP funds, which will allow us to continue building homes and strengthening communities in Walton County. Plus, our Habitat ReStore is gearing up for a very busy summer, providing incredible savings as our customers begin digging into their summer projects.

Gwinnett/Walton Habitat has never been in a better position to make a positive impact on the citizens of our communities. It is such an exciting time and we would love to have you join our mission. Please reach out today if you would like to get involved and make a difference!
