Instructions for Accessing the Gwinnett/Walton Habitat
Homeownership Program Application

Deadline to Apply for Walton County Residents: May 31, 2024

 

Start Here: Visit the following URL and register for an account through Participant Portal:

 

(see below) you will need to create a password.

 

 

Step-by-Step Guide to Registering for the Habitat Homeownership Program:

  1. Register for the Portal
  2. Once you have created your account, an authorization code will be sent to your email.
  3. Confirm your account by following the instructions sent to your email.
  4. Login to the Portal and you will be directed to the homepage.
  5. Select the “Habitat Homeownership Program” option.
  6. Fill out the application form.
  7. Remember to save your progress as you go (see Tips below).
  8. Submit your application.

Tips (when filling out the application):

  • Use a combination of upper and lower-case letters, numbers and special characters to create a password with at least 12 characters.
  • During the application process, you will be given the options to SAVE or COMPLETE & CONTINUE.
  • SAVE will keep your progress updated as you continue filling out the application. Once a section is finished, please select COMPLETE & CONTINUE.

 

Important Note: Edit your application before submitting
It's crucial to review and make any necessary changes to your application before submitting it. To do so, click on REOPEN at the bottom of the section page to enter edit mode for that particular section.
