Meet Abigail + Carlos
Meet Abigail Valdez and her 7 year old son, Carlos. Abigail works in the registration office at a Gwinnett County elementary school. Currently renting a basement apartment, they have endured years of flooding and living in cramped corners. Abigail states that if it wasn’t for Carlos, she would not have started the application process for a new home. His persistence led her on this journey. They are very excited to finally have their own space and create new memories.
